Is this any good? I have it but don't know when I will get to it :-/
I'm actually listening to the audio version because it was available from my library through Hoopla. So far it is pretty engaging. I wonder if in print it would seem like there is a bit too much exposition, but as a audio and the way it is being read, it's good.
Excited to hear what you think of the rest of the series! I LOVED the first two books, but unfortunately wasn't a fan of the 3rd (endings: they're hard to do right). Still need to read the 4th, though hoping to pop into the group read for that one.
Yes, Julie, I really liked this one a lot. Although it is totally different, it ranks up there for me with my other two favourite zombie books, This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers and The Reapers are the Angels by Alden Bell.
I adore a good creepy book & haven't read one in forever! This one sounds like it's well crafted for extra creep factor!
I did really enjoy this...it's a good one if you like the zombie genre. I liked the political thriller aspect that forms part of it.
Intriguing that there's a political theme in there. I checked and my library has a copy all set and ready to be borrowed ^.^
Agree with your review. I liked this one a lot. I kind of spoiled any chance of a re-read by reading book #2. Don't do it, is what I'm saying.

Oh because of the “relationship”? Yeah I read Deadline and didn’t even clue in on that until someone spelled it out for me. Because I am Bambi and clueless 😂😂😂
