this is one the best books I've read this year and I'm thinking it would be no matter what year it's read in.

I recommend this book. I normally, simply rate a book and move on. My rating is my recommendation, to read or not to read.
I'll go a step beyond with this book by saying, it's only 200 pages.
Even if you do not like historical fiction or westerns, it's only 200 pages.
Allow yourself emotional involvement for 200 pages.
It's worth it.

Thank you Ms.Laurel. It's the type book almost everyone should read.
I would have given this book more than 5 stars! It was that good! I fell in love with Captain Kidd and Johanna, loving how their relationship developed.
