Neil Franz Great review, Aj! :)

Tanya (Girl Plus Books) I wanted so much more from this one. I never warmed to Cody and by the end I felt like, "this was it?" I appreciated the way that the difficult subject matter was handled but otherwise... meh. I agree that Forman's writing is quite beautiful!

message 5: by Christina (new)

Christina I think the author did pretty good writing about a difficult subject. Glad you enjoyed it too :) Great review AJ!

message 10: by Books are TARDIS (new)

Books are TARDIS Hear, hear, this book does deserve to be read. It's a tough one, but serves such an important purpose. Glad you liked this Aj :)

Tamara Am I a bad person if I say I hate reading books with an important character suffering from depression? Or rape? It's not my problem with emphasizing with them, I just never feel that I can go through 300+ pages of it all.

Aj the Ravenous Reader Neil: Thank you, Neil. ;)

Ate Tanya: Haha, there you go again with your adorable honesty, Ate Tanya. Thank you. <3

Christina: Yay! Glad we agree on this, Christina. Thank you so much. <3

Kuya Alejandro, Masooma and Ate Deanna: Thank you so much for your endless kindness, my wonderful friends. <3

Ate Claire: Aw, surprisingly, I didn’t cry in this book but it’s still touching just the same. Thank you so much, Ate. <3

Fai: Yay! High five! Glad we almost always agree, my dearest. Thank you so much. <3

Tammy: Nah, definitely not, Tammy. I honestly understand why you wouldn’t want to read books with those subject matters. They’re really tough reads and heavy on the emotions. It’s why I usually read a fantasy book or a rom-com after reading books like this.

Aj the Ravenous Reader Thank you so much, Veronica. <3
