Great review Jilly. Sadly I haven't read any of the series. Do you recommend reading them in order so that you have the backstory of how bad Val really is? TBH I don't know why I'm asking because my reading OCD wouldn't let me read the 10th book in a series first anyway! Sigh, this is going to cost me ...

Yeah, you should read the whole series first. Val is pretty bad in the previous books. Totally worth the cost. ;D

I was thinking this would more be your reaction to Val
I loved how ridiculous Val could be and all the inane things that came out of his mouth, like the yellow dress comment.
Kate that's my exact reaction to Val. I only need to see his name and by body starts doing that movement involuntarily.
Hahaha, don't we all, Tinja. He's not only pretty, he's manly and built too + evil. He's the whole package.
I'm so glad that all of my friends understand my love of a beautiful, evil villain! ;)
