Dan Sirotkin Yeah I was a huge fan of how she argued that colorblindness is in a way worse than out and out racism.

But I was surprised Alexander didn't link the start of the War on Drugs to the decline of both the black economic situation and the black family, both can be traced to the advent of the War on Drugs:

T Moore Judith: A Wonderful GR review there, lassie.

I have listened to Alexander speak on the radio. She is a wonderful and moving spokesperson on race in Amerika.

Funny thing, I went to the library to pick up the book on a whim - (it was on my mental to read list). As I walked into the library, there it was sitting on the Black History Month display waiting for me. Prescient, on the library's part. I'm lucky to have a truly full service library.

I was pleased to see they had purchased it.

I buy books like this for my library if they don't have them. I was fully expecting this one might not have been there. I felt good that it was.

A "Well Done" for the Public Library! HEAR HEAR!!!
