Thanks K.D. It's written in a poetic form which is very moving. There are also lovely nebulous calligraphy style illustrations. Some parts of the poem detail natural disasters in Japan and is quite sad. The author goes on to tell how he moved away from the cities and villages to live a secluded life. I guess it's a bit like Thoreau's "Walden" in a way.
