This one is actually particularly funny because I haven't even read it myself yet lol!
I don't resist ALL of your suggestions, and I didn't resist Life During Wartime at all. I've discovered I've got a long reading syllabus every month that I have to get through before I do my normal reading schedule, though. :) Hmmm. I wonder whom I should blame for that?
And yeah, you ought to read this book. It's very comfortable on many levels, but not boring.

SpecFic is a whole group of peer pressure:) I admit we do read more than 2 books a month though.
Not even including the buddy reads, lol! I do like the fact that I'm picking up a lot of titles I probably wouldn't have tried, otherwise. But on the other hand, I'm so far behind on the books from the authors that I had been looking forward to read for so long. :)
I still want to get to all the Robert L Howard stories... I wonder if I ever will? hahaha... *sigh*

But the calendar is helping right? :)
You mean is the calendar forcing me to pay attention to my reading habits and stay on target and completely forget about watching ANY tv ever again? Then yeah, the calendar is helping fine. TO RULE MY LIFE. Uggghhh... what a time to quit Oriental's Pipe... :)
