Megan woo hoo! Can't wait to see read what you think :)

message 2: by Flannery (new)

Flannery I finished this yesterday morning and I still can't think of what I want to say about it. Nicely put:-)

message 3: by Vinaya (new)

Vinaya Thank you! Oh, and I just got my first galley from Net Galley and I'm fairly sure it's gonna be crap, but it's FREE, woo hoo! So thanks again! :D

Flannery Which one is it?

message 6: by Flannery (new)

Flannery I pretty much avoid any books with 'angel' in the title:-) But it has some 4 star reviews...then again, so does every book.

Hope it's good, Vinaya. I saw it, but absence of good positive reviews scared me away...

Vinaya I actually agree with Flann that any book with angel in the title is pretty much guaranteed to be crap. But I guess I could be surprised. If it's awful, I actually hope it's really, really bad, so that I can rip it apart. I've written too many emotional reviews lately, I need a good dose of sarcasm! :)

I guessing that any book with this as the first line of the synopsis, "Willow knows she’s different from other girls, and not just because she loves tinkering with cars..." is pretty much guaranteed to be crap ;) You are brave to take the plunge, even if it is free.

Tatiana LOL, Megan. We already know how that's going to unravel:)

message 11: by Megan (new)

Megan Yes, and we better get a hilariously scathing review from Vinaya when it is over :)

joy *the clean-reader extraordinaire* um, does nobody notice that the language in this review is a little OVER THE TOP!!!! can you say obscenity? i wouldn't want my kids to walk by the computer and see this. keep it PG please!

message 13: by Tatiana (last edited Feb 09, 2011 11:26AM) (new)

Tatiana In Vinaya's defense, Goodreads is not a PG-rated site as far as I know...

message 14: by Vinaya (new)

Vinaya God help all those erotica reviewers if it were! Thanks Tatiana, I wasn't quite sure what to say! :)

message 15: by Tatiana (new)

Tatiana Half of my GR friends would have been banned already. For their reviews, conversations, and pictures, of course:)

joy *the clean-reader extraordinaire* i just like a little warning when my inbox is going to be f*bombed first thing in the morning. it was a bit shocking!

John Egbert *raises eyebrow* You think this review is bad? Um, let me introduce you to what comes on Fox after seven in the evening...*shudders*

Also, Vinaya, I think I might have to give this book another go-around after reading this review. The first time I wasn't amazed, but maybe I was rushing through.

message 18: by Arlene (new)

Arlene Wow! Your review Vinaya... come here let me give you a hug. I felt the same way. :D Powerful stuff, huh? I felt raw after this book, just raw and spent and well emotional exhausted, but I plan to re-read soon. LOL

message 19: by Santino (new)

Santino Rony Oh boy, your comment is shocking. It totally made me puke big time. Your NAME means EDUCATION and DISCIPLINE, but to my view you have non of them. Plz don't recommend a book like that.
