Really good review. Thanks!
HOW DID I MISS THIS REVIEW? I'm half through this novel...had I only known I could have skipped this disaster. Judging by your review of one of her other books...I found another author to avoid :(
Though I kept hearing David Statham the first time we were in the H's head...so that helped a bit...LOL.
Oh'y, Mojo!! Lol It's damn cruel to dress a dud up like David S. for Halloween and get a girl all hope*full* ... Only to kick her in the teeth :/
After reading and absolutely loving "The Consequences Of Loving Colton" & then reading "The Consequences Of Revenge" and absolutely hating it, I've tried to always give authors two go's before writing them off as unreadable. I was just flabbergasted at how starkly different I reacted to the above two books written by the same author, in the same style, and even featuring many of the same characters.
Still, two strikes is all the time I'm willing to waste, and the author at hand here has had her strikes:/
Awesome review here Ash. I don't think this book is for me here. Also, I loved the consequences if loving Colton also. That was one very funny book.
Thanks, Erica. Yea this is one of those that you can't say is "bad" ... It's just that the author and I always seemed to be on a different page. Happens~
Great review! I just started reading the Filthy English just to see if the author does better job of portraying female character in that one. I could not relate to Elizabeth one bit and I really wanted to like her...especially after reading the first chapter... so disappointed with how her character developed.
