Sarah DiMento Aww so bummed you did not enjoy this one. :-( I'm currently reading The Wrath and the Dawn and I love it! It might be my favorite this year! My understanding is that this book is a lot more literary, I'm wondering if it should've even been classified as YA? I don't understand why the author wouldn't give any of the characters names... It just seems distracting and annoying. I still plan on reading this sometime but I'm not in a hurry.

I loved The Wrath and the Dawn as well and it's definitely one of my favorite books of 2015! That's why I was really disappointed that I didn't like this book too much. It's YA, but for a more mature audience.

Tabetha I'm reading this right now and I had to dig for a review that matched how I felt about it. I'm so bored reading it and I'm forcing myself to read it at this point. I already DNF-ed a book last month and I just don't want to do it again so soon but like ugh. It's going absolutely nowhere and if I read " my father's father's father" one more time I'm gonna roll my eyes so hard I lose them in the back of my head. Thank you for understanding.
