Tabetha Thank you for all of your thoughtful and informative reviews--I appreciate them very much!

message 2: by Jack (new)

Jack Damn this review makes me want to reread it for a 4th time. I love this book so much

TL *Humaning the Best She Can* * hugs * yay, you loved it! Great review

Alienor ✘ French Frowner ✘ Aww I'm so glad you enjoyed this one (and I sense that I won't be the only one to comment that >.<)! I completely agree, it made me happy as well, and sometimes that's all that we need (coming from a reader who usually enjoy twisted characters as well ;)) Great review!

Aso nice review, I like this book too, and for me the cover looks cool. :)

message 10: by Denisa (new)

Denisa So glad you enjoyed it! Scenes with drunk Simon are my favourite :)

message 11: by Jack (new)

Jack Also, the author is sooooo nice. I have a librarian friend who is friends with her and I told her how much I loved the book and she sent me a UK paperback signed with a bookmark and bookplate.

message 12: by Ella (new)

Ella I read a few average reviews about this and I was disappointed because I really wanted to read it, but you gave me hope! I'll surely read it now :)

message 13: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa J. The word "cute" doesn't draw me in.

Neither does it attract me, lol. Now I'm convinced to read this. I wasn't going to try it because of your same reasons, but yeah, it looks like fun. Great review. :)

!!! I've been wanting to read this for a while and I finally recently bought it, and now I'm even more excited to read it! Thanks for the great review! :)

message 15: by Amy (new)

Amy Gary Having had gay friends at a high school in the south (and dating a girl, myself) it really isn't as bad as people make it out to be! I can't speak for Alabama, but Georgia really is not as bad as you'd think.

Nikki "The Crazie Betty" V. LOVE this review!

message 17: by Emily May (new)

Emily May Thank you, everyone! ^_^

You know, this really doesn't surprise me. I've heard horror stories about the South, but I always assumed they're a bit like the horror stories about Northern England. I went to school in the North (considered more socially "backwards" than the South) and pretty much everyone was totally fine with you being gay.

message 19: by Grace Meredith (new)

Grace Meredith Now I really really really want to read this. I'm so glad you got around to reading and reviewing it to help me make a decision!

message 20: by Simon (new)

Simon Says great, now im even more excited to read this... so many books to read

message 21: by Amy (new)

Amy Gary I didn't know that about Northern England! Very interesting. People are weird. :)

message 24: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Your review convinced me to read this book. I generally don't read these types of books either, but I think I will make an exception.

I hope you enjoy it too, Daniel :)

message 26: by CeeMarie (new)

CeeMarie I don't even have anything to say about this book after reading your review! You've said it all. This book isn't what I would've expected or relate to-I'm not the books' intended demographic at all. 37 years old, mom of three little girls. But boy did I love this book! I loved It all

message 27: by Angii (new)

Angii Henning How/Where can I read it? D:

message 28: by Elena (new)

Elena Ahhh I just read this book as well and I thought it was wonderful too :D

message 29: by Stefani (new)

Stefani I have seen at least eight reviews done by you on books that have been recommended to me, some of them I've been soooo skeptical about but you definitely made me give them a chance because of your reviews. And once, I'm pretty sure you saved me from reading a book that I wouldn't have finished! Thanks!

message 30: by Sebastián (new)

Sebastián Cánovas What? *0* I love the book cover.

message 31: by Emma (new)

Emma I just wanted to tell you that I love all of your reviews. They really help me decide which books I should buy at the store. Thank you soooo much!!

Thank you, Emma ^_^

message 33: by Mercês (new)

Mercês Couldn't agree more!!! Such a heart warming book that you don't want to finish reading it!! It's actually quite sad the fact that it only has 300 pages 😭

message 34: by Erin (new)

Erin Addy I’m starting this book tonight bc of your review, I’m in a reading slump and needed a light hearted contemporary but almost put the book down when I saw his dogs cringy name ‘Bieber’ haha but your opinion is the only what that matters so here goes nothing.....

message 35: by Griselda (new)

Griselda This book was definitely fun 😊
I have to keep reminding myself that not all books have to be dark and depressing

message 36: by Amritha (new)

Amritha This was a happy, warm and relatable story. The characters are funny, understanding and so warm. But I didn't like Leah being ignored by Nick and Abby .Simon and Bram were really cute though.

message 37: by Daniel (last edited Jan 16, 2018 09:36AM) (new)

Daniel They made a movie adaptation of this book called "Love, Simon". I wonder how close it will be to the book.

message 38: by Hopestar (new)

Hopestar Hey Emily! I just sent you a friend request. But clicked submit for your question. :(, so I will finish it here! ((Lets hope this is okay!) :),

question: what is your derset island book, favorite character ? (jeeh I hope that one is right!!)) favorite bookish abulm or abulm??? I’ll answer both ;))

my book would be Thidwick the big hearted moose picture book by Dr.Suess! I can not get enough of this book! Nor ever will I get tried of this book!!! Thus why it would be with me on that (lonely) island!

for my favorite character I would have to go with Gale (ah man I forgot his lastname.. :() )) from the Hungergames triology! That was my first book fandom and what got me into reading... also the maze runner series and marley and me (really sad memoir!!))

last question!!!
favorite aulbm! Rn either Nine to Five the broadway casting (our schools musical!!)) or Moana the soundtrack!!! ahaha Lin Mirindia Merlyll ((gosh I butctered his name sorry Lin!))

or for the bookish aublm. Funny story I followed the Simion vs the Homo Sapeians Addenda on insta. And the author had made a playlist for zoey?? I love that!

I hope these were the questions you ask everyone who wants to be you friend!!!

~~~hopestar!
XxX call me Madie!
-lets be friends :/;)
message 40: by Shelby Goodwin (new)
message 41: by Lehxi (new)
Lehxi XO https://forloveofabook.wixsite.com/blog
I created a book blog website and did a review on this book, go check it out and support please! ☺️
message 42: by Bianca (new)
Bianca I know, I didn’t want to read it either! The corny title and cover and I am also not into romances but seriously I just watched Love, Simon and the only thing I can think about is finding a freaking book store and buying this book!
message 43: by Gray (new)
Gray I unfortunately have already seen the movie, not knowing there was a book. (I know, I hate when I do this!! 😖😖😖) However, is reading it worth it? Is it any different from the movie?
message 44: by Daniel (new)
Daniel It's still a good read. The movie kind of hit the highlights, in my opinion. It was very light on the details compared to the book.
message 45: by Daniel (new)
Daniel Please don't spam all the blogs.
message 46: by Francis (new)
Francis Thanks for this review! I am going to bite the bullet and purchase the book now :)
