Sarah Elizabeth I would say that it was aimed more at the lower end of YA so maybe 14 year olds?

Brittany (Brittany's Book Rambles) I'm still in the middle of reading this one but I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who saw the similarities to the famous books you mentioned.
