I didn't like his later ones. "Friday" & "Time Enough For Love" were about the last. "Number of the Beast", "Cat Who Walks Through Walls" & a couple of other later ones were horrible. Lots of preaching & weird ideas about sex.
When my son was 12 or so (well into his twenties now) and did not like the Harry Potter thing after trying a couple of those, I turned him onto Heinlein's juveniles. This was his favourite.
That's cool. Willis was fun. I liked it well enough, but 'Farmer', 'Spacesuit', 'Star Beast', & a couple of others ranked higher for me.

I have always liked any Heinlein that I found to read.
