The search engine isn't working right so I can't recommend the books the proper way. Have you read Nancy Pearl's books? Someone recommended Book Lust and I second that. She's a librarian and has written several wonderful books like what you're asking. Book Lust and More Book Lust are the popular ones. There's also one for children's books, "Book Crush," and another called "Book Lust To Go." She has more like this but I'd start here.
