I noticed that "The Constant Gardener" is on your to-read list. Although not exactly a medical thriller, it is about the pharmaceutical industry but it's not a light book and it's a little depressing, like many John le Carre books can be.

You may also look up "Ordinary Storms" by William Boyd, also about the pharmaceutical industry.
