I was a little surprised and very pleased that you responded so quickly about the title and author.
However, strangely, when I search for books with titles like "The Last Book" or "The Man Who Burned His Books," I can't find anything here. I can't find anything similar in the table of contents of the complete works of Lafcadio Hearn or Koizumi Yakumo either.
Anyway, thank you very much. I will, using the information you provided, try to reach it looking for at libraries here and elsewhere.
