Tried recommending three books, but Goodreads would only let me recommend one of them. Apparently I already recommended the other two long enough ago that I no longer recall doing so. Which sounds like something I would have done. Either the Complete Short Stories of J.G. Ballard or Collected Fictions by Borges sound familiar?

James Tiptree Jr, as big a collection as you can get (the most excellent SF short story writer I know)
Ursula K LeGuin, Winds Twelve Quarters
Lisa Tuttle, all collections

Seconding recs for James Tiptree Jr and Borges.
JG Ballard's collected short stories is some 1000+ pages and has a remarkably high hit rate.
Burning Your Boats by Angela Carter

Smaller collections from the decadent/symbolist era that you might like - "My Fantoms" by Theophile Gautier, "Moral Tales" by Jules Laforgue (contains, among other things, an incredibly tripped-out version of Salome's tale, which was a big influence on Wilde's own version), "The Last Siren" by Lucie Delarus-Madrus (wide variety of stories ranging from naturalism, to decadence, to fables, and more)
