I'm not actually sure what you want exists. The closet books I can think of are not necessarily what I would identify as "insightfully written" (which could potentially be written off to my liberal bias) or (a much more objective assessment) focused on talking about why the author supports Trump.

For example, one can safely assume that his son's book Triggered is pro-Trump, but it doesn't actually appear to focus on Trump as much as focusing on what DT Jr thinks is wrong with liberals.

Other than that, all I've come across are a bunch of books that center around a 'Deep State' theme, all of which focus more on the idea that Trump is being sabotaged by a shadow government and secret enemies as opposed to focusing on what the authors actually perceive as being good about DT.

To provide a frame of reference to my comments, I work at a library in a conservative-leaning town (not the town I live in, but rather a close by town), so I see a lot of books, conservatives, and conservative books every day. I interact with patrons who are most definitely Trump supporters, yet I've never seen anything close to what you're talking about.

Good luck, I'd be curious to know if you find something though, so I'd be grateful if you'd give me a heads up if you do.

Q. Afraid I'm with Zoe here.

message 3: by Kris (new)

Kris I was worried about this. I searched Amazon, of course, but.. I couldn't find anything that had a lot of good reviews or even helpful reviews.
I searched on here, again, no luck..
I guess it doesn't exist yet.
It may never...
*wry grin*
Maybe Trump needs to write it himself...

oh wait....

I see that Cintia has found something below. For whatever else Gingrich might be, he writes as well as anyone else in politics and better than many. If you read that one, be mindful of fact checking. (Of course, really, I think that's true of any book written by any politician of any political bent.)

Kris I'm not seeing anything from a Cintia... Help me out here?

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh weird! She has recommended a book called “Understanding Trump” by Newt Gingrich”.

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Must be a glitch of some sort.

message 8: by Kris (new)

Kris Unless she deleted it... I still can't see it..
Definitely weird.
I will see if I can find that.. it's something at least..

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

That's what's weird about it. I'm looking at the recommendation right now. Your request over our comments and the recommendation at the bottom of the screen just below.

The only thing I can think of is if she's someone you have blocked. But then, I'd think she wouldn't be able to see your request.

I wonder how often this happens and it doesn't come up in conversation.

"Curiouser and curiouser"

message 10: by Kris (new)

Kris Now I'm curious.. has anyone else commented other than you and Q?

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Nope. The only comments are Q and I (other than you, of course), and the only recommendation is from Cintia.

message 12: by Kris (new)

Kris ooh!! I was looking for a comment from her! LOL and *sigh*
I'm so daft.
Thanks for helping me figure this out!!
*blush*

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

No worries! And don't feel daft. We ALL do things like that.

Kris Thank you!
