I dystopian option but I have a mythology option it is called the sisters Grimm its really good and it is also mystery! Also Mythical and fictional.
The Golden compass is sorta fantasy. But if you're looking for mythology books, Rick Riordan wrote different mythology books like one about egyption and another on the roman stuff. Although, if you're looking for books outside of the rick riordan category, read Circe. It's about the girls with the island that percy jackson lands on, and isn't by rick riordan. Also, you would love Ready Player One, it's dystopian where the economy has crashed and now this kid wants to win billions of dollars in a virtual reality world.
