What does ISO stand for here?
Hi Whitney-forgive me but I don't know what ISO character driven means. For relationships I recommend Arabian Jazz by Diana Abu-Jaber. This book was a surprise that I picked from the library shelves. The story of a Jordanian-American family whose lives are greatly affected by death. It's funny and sad and interesting. For moral ambiguity I recommend Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky and The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas. The CoM is very long but every page is worth the read. A story of one man's revenge that he wants to believe is divinely inspired. But is it?
