Yes, but I think it more fits the description of what you asked for. He just gets stuck on the tiny details and makes them huge issues. Susan and I both liked this.

Yes, there is mystery involved, but it takes a while to see what it is. The story takes its time introducing the characters and setting up the story, but all is integral to the story as a whole.
I would not classify it as one.
Lol. You might consider it that way, but is more a case of the guy being in denial.
I don't think so. Might have been when he was younger, but I just don't remember, as it wasn't relevant to the story.
