That's more the time frame I'm after but, once again, the focus seems to be on Warsaw and I'm really looking for a novel set in Krakow.

You certainly did. And I took two from the list that you recommended and added them to my TBR list, LUMEN and A LONG, LONG, TIME AGO ... !
My vacation is actually 9 days each in Munich, Bratislava, and Krakow. I've got ideas now for Bratislava and Krakow. Any suggestions for Munich??
