Shannon No problem! I'm actually enjoying it so far, although that could be because the last ya book I read was pretty unspectacular.

Desperado Likewise. =( The quality of YA novels these days are diminishing, unfortunately. Have you read Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis ? That was the last really good YA I read.

Shannon I haven't, I was a bit turned off by the scandal concerning the cover. Although, I know the author probably had nothing to do with it, it still colored my opinion.

Desperado *Lethal nods* Yeah, I read about that on DA. The white-washing. =( I had to struggle to put that mess in the back of my mind when I read ATU. I think it's a really good book if you can ignore it. And this coming from a woman who doesn't particularly enjoy sci-fi novels.

Shannon My library stocks it, so if I want to I can always check it out. Maybe next time I'm craving some sci-fi I'll pick it up.
