Thanks for the suggestion! I am yet to read that, but it has caught my eye so I think I'll definitely give it a read. Any suggestions for my post DFW world?
Ah, well, I can tell you where I went. Roberto Bolano (2666) and Fernando Pessoa's The Book of Disquiet. Many DFW fans have veered toward William T. Vollmann, though I've yet to try my hand. There are plenty of "big" voices in the current literary marketplace. Unfortunately, there was only one David Foster Wallace and much pales in comparison.
