“There on that mountain, Jesus explained to his men that attitude forms the basis for success in ministry. Christian service is a vast and rigorous challenge, and yet also a potential danger. The burden of ministry can erode ideas, destroy vision, and cause the eternal optimist to be a disillusioned pessimist. Thus our inner perspective is vital as we face the hardships of frontline ministry.”
