“Throughout their lifetime, most women learn to be uncomfortable with their physical appearance. They create a
mask of makeup that is intended to “fix” their “imperfections.” They identify so much with this mask they reject their true beauty.

Feminine Transitions encourages women to remove their masks and love their true selves, completely.”

“I pay tribute to that little girl who is constantly told by society that she is not beautiful. For the older woman who hides behind her mask and colors her gray hair. And to the senior woman who feels that her wrinkles are a negative reminder of growing older.

Know that you are all beautiful, just the way you are. Let the radiance you were born with shine through.”

“My biggest lesson about writing was when I was a little girl and would overhear adults say "one day I will write a book". When I would see them again, sometimes several years later, they repeated the same thing, without any action towards writing their book. I didn't want to be like them and learned the basic rule of creating is to just do it. Therefore, when I wanted to be a writer, I did just that. I wrote and my first book and figured out self-publishing in 2010. It was a learning curve but also an amazing journey. Thankfully, the people I met as a little girl taught me this very important life lesson.”

“The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.”
    Les Brown

“Hollywood won’t tell our stories… so we must. Independent film and art are born from truth, not profit, and their survival depends on the strength of our communities. If we don’t support them, no one will.”

“I don’t fear the dark... I work inside it, so something brighter can be left behind. The artist’s journey isn’t to avoid the shadows, but to enter them fully and create light from the inside out.”
