I have recently found the Guardians series. I am currently reading Necropolis. I love the series so much that I am currently in search of all the books to add to my collection. I have discovered a Facebook fan page that was showing a rerelease of The Ferryman which included a short story about Charon and Charlette. Did this actually get released? If so can you still find it and where?

Hi Michael, Thank you so much. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the guardians series, it’s one of my favourites and you’re in luck because this is the year of the witch! It’s a very special year as it’s Mercy’s ten year anniversary.
I had to put a hold on the guardians series re-release a while back because I was having problems with covers and various other things, which is why at the time The Ferryman wasn’t re-released with the Charon bonus short.
However, this year there is going to be so much guardians stuff happening. I’ve just released the new wendysaunders.com website. I’ll be regularly adding guardians content to it as the rebrand finally goes ahead this year and all the books are re-released re-edited with gorgeous new covers and some with bonus/extra content.
There will also be two brand new books instead of just one, after the sins of the father which will conclude the second series. I will be announcing the release dates for those once I have the covers etc.
Next week I’m launching a guardians series newsletter sign up for 2025. This dedicated monthly newsletter will be exclusively for the guardians series and will let readers know as and when all the new content becomes available and where they can find it.
In the meantime I will be refreshing all the Wendy Saunders social media accounts which haven’t been used in some time and my PA Kim will be managing them so it’s easier to get hold of me.
