I have always aspired to become an author, but I am not sure how difficult it is to break through in the industry. Is it harder than winning the lottery, as people proclaim?

Stuart Gibbs It is probably not harder than winning the lottery -- and unlike the lottery, it is not just luck. Everyone I know who has become an author has worked really hard at it. If you work hard and develop your talents, you have a much better chance of making it as a writer.
