How do you deal with writer’s block?

N.L. Westaway When the flow of writing gets bumpy, I usually write in summary so as not to lose the ideas even if the full content is hiding from me. Sometimes I have dialog with characters as well--see if they are the ones not wanting to talk to me or move the story along. I tend to jump around a story with my writing as some scenes/characters hide until they are ready, so I write what is showing itself.
