I wanted to learn some techniques to create better images and designs for my site so I took a class at Nicole's Classes (online). I loved it so much that I kept taking classes and ended up taking almost every class they offered! The key to improving design skills is to practice, practice, practice. Taking online classes (and doing the homework) helped me to keep working at it a little bit at a time. I also took a few Skillshare classes as well, and I've heard great things about the classes offered at Atly. While taking online classes, I learned so much, and when my publisher saw my work, they asked if I would be interested in illustrating a diary for them (Watkins' Every Day Matters diaries), which I was thrilled to do. I've been working on those diaries for three years and my work there lead me to get other design jobs. I primarily use Adobe Illustrator for my design work, but I also use Adobe Photoshop and InDesign on occasion. (less)

Free Taylor Swift Coloring & Journaling Pages

It’s been one year since The Story of You was published! In honor of the book’s anniversary, I created some free coloring and journaling pages to supplement the book’s pages. Many of these pages are inspired by The Life of a Showgirl, which debuted shortly after The Story of You, but you’ll also find some additional pages inspired by other Taylor Swift albums.
