Peter Stanton All of these books look awesome.

message 2: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth Theiss Smith Read Deadly Feasts when it first came out and it is indeed fascinating, if just a bit sensationalized, at least according to David Quammen whose recent book is a more measured look at recent virus epidemics.

message 3: by Cathy (new)

Cathy Smith Hi All, I agree with Peter: all of these books look great! I would be happy to read any of them, even though I could only vote for one.

message 4: by Sara Van Dyck (new)

Sara Van Dyck American Promotheus. I thought I'd read a lot about Oppenheim and his times, but the reviews convinced me that this is worth reading.

Sara VAN DYCK (until they correct my name on the site)

Sorry, Sara, the voting closed three days ago. But you can nominate it again when we open nominations for December.
