Loving this competition! Oh, and I've voted.
Voted! Some of those blurbs really didn't work for me. But it was hard to choose the best, and I'll admit personal preference came into it.
Thanks for your votes, everyone. It was a fun surprise to discover I'd won! I hope voters will consider reading the books whose blurbs they found intriguing. Writing a good blurb is hard to do. Thanks to the organizers for giving us all some practice.
