I was really surprised how many of these stories were so great!! I really had a tough time choosing just one to vote for :) also I will be sharing your daughters short story with my 9 year old I think she will enjoy it very much.. :) All of the writers did such a wonderful job and I hope to see more from them in the future .

I'll continue the blue gas survivors for you. And I thought that I was the youngest, I'm 13 years old, Lol. I love those kinds of books.
But, I don't think that anybody will vote for my short story.

Just the fact that you submitted it says something about your desire and motivation - that's half the battle right there. Keep it up...I look forward to reading more from you in the future!
I'm glad the voting deadline was extended. I'm just back from a holiday and will need a few days to read them all.

That is why I decided to make it anonymous. This way everyone can vote for the story they like best and nobody knows who voted for what story unless they want to say themselves.
I think it is great that so many people submitted their stories. I loved reading all of them. There is some really great talent out there. :)
I do plan on doing this again. :)
Katarina is my daughter. I had NO IDEA that she was writing this and I was pleasantly surprised when she emailed the story to me and told me to read it, AFTER of course she posted it. I love that she loves reading and writing as much as I do and she is only 13 :) I thank everyone has voted for her story!

Wow! There were so many great stories! I really enjoyed the variety and how developed the stories were in 800 words! Thank you for sharing your work!!! I was really torn between Gifted and Surreal as my two favorites. I also really liked the stripper's story and the zombie story. Awesome job everyone!!!
