Great idea, love James Herbert. Had to choose The Dark because its the only one there that I haven't read yet.

I just recently read The Haunted and The Rats. I already own The Dark, so I voted for that one too. :)

I'll go with The Dark as well, but will gladly join in with any book here selected. This will be my first group read here. Looking forward to it.

I'm good with The Dark, too. I got the copy I owned while I was in England a couple years ago.

I saw Others isn't available as a Kindle book on Amazon, but it looked pretty good, too. That lost my vote right away, because of the convenience of the ebooks. I know, I know, lazy, lazy, lazy! But I just don't want to order it, or go to the store right now for it - unless I absolutely have to. *smile*

I just ordered physical copies of the Fog, and the Rats, since I haven't read either of them yet. However, I'm up for a re-read on any of these.

prob the first ever horror story I ever read was The Rats and introduced me to a life long love of horror reading...

I got my copy from ebay--it was a UK seller, but I had the book within a week. I have seen it for kindle, but it was quite a bit more than my paperback copy, even with the shipping.
