I put all the books I have read on here, Don't have any kids yet, but all of the books I read as a child count.

I like to use it to keep up with books I want my kids to read. Especially when I find lists online of good books, like the books every geek's child should read or good books for strong girls, etc.

I am a middle school librarian and parent of a twenty-something. The majority of the books I read are Young Adult/Juvenile, for both professional reasons and personal interest. I have written a bit for this age group (no books completed yet). I shelve books I read as a child, and many of these are the same ones my daughter and I read together when she was a child.

I wish there was a way to add your child to your account and keep track of their books for them - that would be very helpful! like in Netflix - you can create multiple profiles and set up preferences for each. I hope goodreads looks into this enhancement idea.
