Chris Haynes I have a long commute and listen to either podcasts or audiobooks. I barely have an hour a day to watch TV, so I don't have time to watch S&L on youtube. Sorry...

message 2: by Kim (new)

Kim Does it make it any easier now they've split the YouTube show into two smaller videos?

message 3: by Kris (new)

Kris I absorb the content any way I can...more the merrier...

message 4: by Chris (new)

Chris Haynes I didn't know they had split the show. how is it shown now?

message 5: by Seawood (new)

Seawood You need an "all three" option :) I'm on GR most every day, save the YT show for Friday evenings to watch with my DH and take the podcast on my Saturday morning drive to work.

They split it into news & interviews in one, book club discussions in the other. Together they're around the same length as the first episodes they released.

If you were able to view this poll then it's obvious you use GR and are a member of the S&L group. I wanted the poll to be as concise as possible. It's mainly about gauging the response to the answers I created.

Seawood I see what you're getting at. It would be interesting to be more fine-grained with it, though (not saying this poll should be responsible for that!) - how many people just look at the forums every so often BUT their main engagement is with the audio/video, vs people who really use the forums a lot AND watch/listen to everything.

I like lots of data. :)

A.J. I chose Podcast only, because that's how I get about 90% of my S&L. But I do spend a bit of time on the forums here. Instead of spending a few minutes here and there on the forum, I tend to spend a longer period of time here once a week or so.

I listen to the podcast while driving to/from work, and I don't have much free time at home, so I haven't been able to watch even a single YouTube video.

Chris Haynes I recently watch my first S&L video podcast; the one with John Scalzi...love his work!! Anywho, nothing against Tom and Veronica but the video podcast seems to be "stiff" and too scripted. I like the more relaxed audio podcast where it sounds more like two people talking to each other and not two people reading a script. Does that make sense?
