I've really taken to using PaperBackSwap. The past dozen or so books I've read have come from members of PBS.

I just finished reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and i actually found out about it through the book community on YouTube.

What book?

Passionate Minds, by David Bodanis. It's a non-fiction about Voltaire and his mistress Emilie Du'Chatelet. Simply amazing.

I'll check it out!

Nice! Tell me what you think if you finish it!

I am reading another one from a Goodreads Giveaway right now along with two not listed. I usually have three or four books going at a time so I don't get bored. I am new here so I really need to make time to update better and throw up more reviews and ratings.
Thanks for the poll.
This is my first.
*blush*

If you're enjoying Ian Rankin , you might also want to glance at Giles Blunt's' John Cardinal' series.

I saw him on SkyArts The Book Show ,thought i'd see wht the fuss was about! ;D lol"
Watch out! I read The Killing Floor having seen it recomended somewhere. I was trapped! I read the next few one after the other. Then, realising there was actually a finite number of them, I started to pace myself!
Read all 17 over the course of a year. The quality dropped off a little over the last 3-4 books but they're still great fun.
I even quite enjoyed the movie.
Looking forward to #18 in September!

I just read Stranded by Scott Ayars. It was a good Sci-fi about space travel.I found it at a ComicCon via GR.

Haha same here!

Since joining Goodreads, that has changed ...

A friend of mine at work borrowed me my last book
