Hell of a choice here: every nominee is something I either love or would love to read. Nice work, folks.

Hard choice indeed! but as I haven't read Heart of Darkness and I have the others and seen Macbeth a goodly number of Times, I'll go for that. But I'd be happy with any of them.
Oh, it totally would, Bob. Another terrific companion read is Adam Hochschild's King Leopold's Ghost: A Story of Greed, Terror & Heroism in Colonial Africa, the non-fiction story of the Congolese genocide and a terrific book in its own right.

Thanks Alex, I have added it to my books to be on the look out for list.

It’s like watching a real slow horse race, come on Darkness!

You guys are so funny! All right, all right, since "Vanity Fair" and "Heart of Darkness" are the big winners I will list them both :-)"Vanity Fair" can run for 2 months since it is so long and "Heart of Darkness" will run for Sept since it is much shorter.
Happy reading everyone!
woo hoo!!! I'm doing Heart of Darkness...I don't think I'll touch Vanity Fair yet since I have so many others I want to get to.
