The first time I read The Fault In Our Stars, I finished it in about four hours.
3-6 hours, especially if it's a book that I like. Once I start I can't stop- it's always the promise of stopping at the next chapter, which is the promise for every chapter until it's 3am and I've finished the book xD
Definitely depends on the book. Easier reads read faster than more serious reads. I'd say my average speed is maybe 60 pages an hour I think, when I'm really into it. Then again, when I read more serious books or want to take in well what I'm reading I try to take longer to understand what I'm reading.
non-stop for me still means I take 15 thousand breaks just to walk into the kitchen and stare mindlessly into the refrigerator. I would love to be one of those ppl that really just sit there and read 300 pages in 3 hours. but I am lazy and bore myself too easily
Depends on the book I think, some books have more words per page which would definitely affect how long it'd take to read.
Well depends on the book. But i have improved my speed reading techniques. It now takes me slightly above 4 hrs to finish. Just that non-stop reading time is a rarity nowadays! Life happens.
depends on the book, if it isn't an epic fantasy/non fiction then 2-3 hours, if it is then 3-5 hours.

It depends.300 pages from a complex science book will take be twice as long as 300 pages from a breezy memoir.
300 pages from a literary novel will take me twice as long as 300 pages from a beach read.
*Shrug*
Everyone here is correct. Depending on the book, the time differs per reader. If you specified what type of boo,k you would most likely get better answers.

Same here, sometimes the books are interesting with good hooks, other times, not so...
