I found this hard to answer. Since there're many different kinds of wolfs, I would say the ones that are actually endangered, such as the Red Wolf, should be on the list, while those that are nor endangered should not.

all wolves are endangered, except arctic wolves, because it's too cold for humans up there.

I still don't think all wolves should be on the endangered list. Endangered species are species that face extinsion in near future. Wolves might belong somewhere between near threatened and vulnerable (the lists). Of course, this is still not all wolf-species.

well, when the endangered status was removed, 37 wolves were killed immediately after. the arctic wolves shouldn't, of course, but many others are nearly extinct.

As I said: Those that are actually endangered should be on the list, those who are not shouldn't. I agree that a lot of the specieses belong somewhere between near threatened and vulnerable, but if they aren't actually facing extinsion, they don't belong on the endangered list.

so let me revise my statement: red wolves, mexican wolves, plains wolves, arabian wolves, timber wolves, and indian wolves should be on the endangered species list.
