I can't usually get the bookfreaks book out of the library and if I can't get it out of the library then I can't really read it.

well what library do you go to? do you have an address for it?
I do have to say with a 50/50 vote that is still a huge percentage of people reading the picked book from our group. We have 358 members so the math sounds impressive to me so far.

I go to the Princeton Public Library. It's a huge library cause it's right across from Princeton University. And it's in NJ. Haha ya hopefully we can get more votes!
I try to find it and read with review. Not always possible.
There are approx. 25 public libraries here in Jefferson County in Alabama. That is the county that Birmingham is in. I can get on the computer and check a book out from any of those libraries and pick them up at the library of my choice.
Wow! I feel awfully limited! There's one public library that I have membership at (cause even though they're public you have to be members) and it has a very varried and huge selection but it doesn't get books like the day they come out! I have to wait a little bit longer!
There should be an answer that I try to get the book. Usually I try to get it from my library but it's checked out by someone else and I'm in queue.
My participation depends on the group, whether or not I can get the book and whether or not I've already read the book (& not in the mood to re-read it). If all the pieces come together, I always read and leave a review.

that would have been a great choice to put in there. This was my first poll I set up and I was just trying to get a feel of just how much effect our group picking a book for a monthly read effected the book's movement and such.
