Fall. Because of the colors and how pretty our road looks with the leaves to the sides. And the weather. Cool nights for better sleeping, days still warm enough for short sleeves but not so hot that even if you wear a hoodie, you are comfortable.

I love Fall, the sweaters, the hot drinks... It's all so cozy. It's the time of year when you can curl up with a good book and a cup of tea, maybe a blanket. And the colors! The reds and oranges in the leaves are beautiful, but I also love that everyone starts wearing darker colors too.:)
Fall, because most of my family's celebrations/holidays are then (lots of birthdays, 1st of November, etc.).

I love when the leaves change colors and slowly fall off. I love the crisp and cool days which are perfect for a hoodie but too hot for a coat. I love October when ghost and goblins are hanging in everyone's lawn. I love smelling Pumpkin Spice latte at Starbucks. I love when the pumpkin patches open and you can run through corn mazes and eat caramel apples. Fall is absolutely wonderful.
I live in New England and here the Fall is absolutely the best time of year. Warm, dry days followed by cool, crisp evenings. It's great sleeping weather at night too. Oh and it's football season! I'm a big skier so I love the winter too. There is much unappreciated beauty in the winter like the look and feel of a fresh snowfall (when you're not stuck in traffic of course). But if I had to choose one, I'd go with Fall.
I think all of the seasons have their own charm, but my favorite is spring. In spring, all the flowers start blooming again and the animals come out of hiding and I just love the liveliness of it. It's also a season which is not too hot and not too cold ^^
Winter for sure!! The air is so cool and refreshing, and I love snow. I hate summer the most of all seasons because it's very hot and uncomfortable, I sweat all the time and cannot go outside because I feel like suffocating in the heat... I get depressed in Summer much more easily than in winter, and even if it's cold in winter I can just put on extra sweater or so, but in summer if it's hot you can't take off your skin lol, so there's no escape from heat.
Autumn for the wonderful colours as the trees turnWinter for the snow and ice painting the landscape
Spring for the daffodils and bluebells in the hedgerows
But summer for the sun to warm these old bones!
I can't stand anything hot or summery. I actually spending more time outdoors in winter than any other season because the cold doesn't bother me. Plus everyone else is indoors which makes it even nicer for me outdoors. Much more nice and peaceful than when everyone and their grandma is outside in summer and spring. SNOW is hands down my favorite weather and I live in Wisconsin
I can believe that Fall is in first place, but I can't believe that Spring is in last. Spring is my favorite season because of the calming and blooming nature of life in a corruptive and oxidised world. Spring provides a sense of relief in a year full of otherwise destructible storms.
Lauren wrote: "Spring is the best hands down. Everything is new and beautiful - coming to life after the harsh colder seasons :)"I agree wholeheartedly! Fresh and green and still cool enough that I don't melt, and it's garden planting time as well!
My personal favorite is spring, though summer and winter have their perks as well. Spring is my favorite because after a long cold dead winter, it's when things start coming back to life. The sun comes up earlier, the air gets warmer, and the grass starts to get green again! Not to mention the beautiful petals that seem to be raining down everywhere I look in the spring time! And in the metaphorical year I absolutely love how spring symbolizes birth and rebirth. It's a reminder that no matter how cold and cruel things get, sure enough the snow will melt in the spring and then everything will star to flourish again! The only season I don't particularly care for is the fall. I mean the weather is ok but it's kind of brisk and it gets colder as each day passes. And in the metaphorical year fall is really sad because it symbolizes sickness and dying and endings and stuff. Everything that once made the world look so beautiful disappears and the only thing left to admire is the cruel daintiness off the ice and snow that comes along with winter.... Haha yeah but boy do I love spring!!!! It's the best!
Spring simply because winter is over! I hate cold weather. Everything is beautiful and blooming.
Autumn is gorgeous too.
(Fall- but I call it Autumn because im in the UK). I like the weather the best at this time; Not to hot or too cold. The scenery is also really beautiful. But i really love winter, aswell, because of the snow, the holidays(christmas, duh), and i love jumpers and scarves.
Fall, I can sit outside and read, and the fall is just a time of year and everything is romantic. Although Texas only has Summer and Winter.
Fall is by far my favorite season because the air is crisp and cool and the leaves are beautiful and I love the holidays and bonfires and fall festivals. The summers where i live are miserably hot and humid I feel like dying because I sweat too much so summer is probably my least favorite season.I love wearing sweaters and getting cozy in bed under thick blankets.
I love spring and autumn because the weather is just right. Not to hot, not to cold. Autumn is my favorite because the leaves are changing, Halloween and Thanksgiving are two of my favorite holidays. I feel like people only like Spring because Winter is over.
Fall by far. The temperature is perfect, not too cold nor too hot, making it more comfortable to go do things outside - in my favourite clothes that are too thin for winter and too thick for summer. The air feels fresh to breathe, invigorating. Leaves turn into blazing colours, and the mornings are often enveloped by mist. It's rather inspiring all around, really. A most poetic scenery.
Autumn, because it's before Winter. I know that sounds odd, but... I love Winter, especially the beginning, but most of all I love the anticipation. In Autumn, I know we will soon have snow, Christmas, they beauty of winter. At the same time, there is the beautifully complex weather of fall - the days can be warm, but also freezing. Sometimes they are both, with cold air and a strong, warm sun. There is the endless contrast of reds and greys, silver and gold. And there's nice fall clothes, hot drinks, nice food and most of all - books!
But, nontheless I love all four seasons. I couldN't live somewhere with only one or two of them.

I love Fall -- holidays are coming, Halloween, Thanksgiving, ooh what fun. Plus it's such a welcome from the heat of the summer to have it cool down and see snow again.

I didn't know so many people loved fall :)Fall as well, it's not too hot nor too cold, and unlike spring i don't have allergies in the fall lol
And i find this season rather poetic :)
Autumn. I know that everyone else has been saying it, but I love that back-to-school vibe and the colours. All the Hallowe'en celebrations are fun. Really fun. And in the end, we come to the Fort Knox of holidays that is December.
The only downside is celebrating all the Harvest in school, but I suppose that goes on for not much
Then it would be -
Winter (obvious reasons, though February is a drag)
Summer (the flies are annoying but bearable)
Spring
Spring at the bottom because of all this talk on 'new life' and eggs. It has March which is too cold for spring and has the smell of manure in the air.

There is nothing to beat fall color and we always go leaf peeping. I am living for first frost right now.
I live in Minnesota, so we have A LOT of winter. It gets a little old. Summer is usually (too) short and not too hot or humid.
Spring I like the warm weather, the flowers, and my birthday is in the spring:)
Carol wrote: "I live in Minnesota, so we have A LOT of winter. It gets a little old. (or maybe it was April) Too much pollen this year due to all that moisture. Today I saw a bumper sticker that read: Colorado is full but Kansas has lots of space! I still feel like I am on vacation here. I wonder if I will ever feel like Colorado is home.

I am an Aries. What are your favorite flowers? Me I like Lilies, Daisies, and Sunflowers. Roses are too common.

Fall. I lived on the Sahara Desert and in Florida for over 16 years - no changes in color. Sun-light has a different "hue" and the crispness of the days is joyful, after being in the heat for so long

Antonio which was terrible for me. I also lived in FL where I was very sick from molds and pollen.
My favorite season is winter ,it's very could and it's snowingat this season I drink a hot drink and I feel so happy .
Fall is my FAVORITE season cuz it's my birthday and he weather is neither too hot or too cold, but JUST perfect:)
Fall just has the perfect atmosphere to curl up with a book and a hot drink, but isn't too cold like Winter can be. The sweaters and boots and scarves just sweeten the mood even more. And don't get me started on the trees, they're just breathtaking with their vibrant, fiery leaves. Although if it weren't for my allergies, maybe I'd say Spring, depending on my mood and my current obsession with everything pastel and floral.
Spring ~ It used to be Spring and Fall, but now it seems I really notice when the daylight is getting shorter and it makes me depressed... Spring is the perfect temperature, and the days only seem to get longer, and everything is slowly unfurling to life. It's beautiful. (Minus the return of mosquitoes, poison ivy, etc.)
Autumn is the time to start wearing wool, corduroy, tweed... beautiful fabrics which seem to blend with the landscape.
