Literally historical or classic war

all the light we cannot see by anthony doer :)
I used to read a lot about 1940s germany, but I haven't read a historical book in a while. and if you haven't already read it, I think you would enjoy the hunger games, and though war is not the main focus (it is a bit more prevalent in the ballad of songbirds and snakes, which I am currently reading) the themes in the series are very interesting and if you're writing something having to do with human nature or politics, it's very good.

Already read it. Love that book :)

Omg I just saw that you've also already read the hunger games, too, my bad. If you haven't read either of these, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and As Long As the Lemon Trees Grow by Zoufla Katouh are amazing, and I am currently reading the later one. Both are historical, the book theif taking place during Nazi Germany from the perspective of death himself, and as long as the lemon trees grow, from the perspective of a pharmacist volunteering at a hospital during the Syrian war, if that interests you at all :)

i kinda want something like a basic good ya fantasy read if that makes sense 🙏

like something more like guilty pleasure sort of fast paced, not really advanced you have to think A LOT fantasy? or just a good fantasy in general? I'm not making fun of you I promise I just want to be as accurate as possible with my recommendation :)
