I recently found out what MFM and Reverse Harem tropes are… what do you think of them 😭
For those who don't know:
MFM (Male/Female/Male): A romance involving one female and two male characters, where the focus is on both men loving the woman. The two men do not have a romantic or sexual relationship with each other.
Reverse Harem (RH) / Why Choose?: A romance where one main character (usually female) has three or more romantic partners, and she doesn't have to choose between them at the end. Everyone is in a consensual relationship together.
Personally, I felt like it was kinda weird (not to shame anyone that likes them!!) yk but I‘m not exactly sure what to think of it… let me know what you think!!

also a correction! reverse harem does not mean that. reverse harem as well as 'usual' harem is not the same as poly. most harems end with the main character (m or f) picking one and entering a monogamous relationship while keeping all the others as friends

And for mfm I can even understand it to some point, but reverse harem is just not my cup of tea. No hate!! :)

well that really depends on the story itself but i've never seen love triangles or harems that did not have a strong jealousy component to it lol like it said, it's not like poly. although some people in poly relationships do still feel jealous too...... but honestly i've never seen it in any media or fictional work
