I love learning sign language so much. I don’t have an app but there are a lot of YouTube videos and books on ASL! That’s how I have been learning. Lowkey, ASL is like the best language ever!!!! Everyone should learn it. So maybe there wouldn’t be a language barrier too!
We could all communicate through sign language!

ASL is so fun, im learning it rn! I'm using my state's "online school" asl program to learn it. Maybe check to see if your state offers anything like that? It's like a legit course though so if you want to be a little more free in how long it takes you, what you learn first, etc. I suggest taking other people's ideas lol

I’m currently using ASL Bloom. It gives you 3 free lessons a day but if you want unlimited lessons it would be 99.99 a year

I am learning ASL and have been using BJU’s online course!!! You do have to pay, but honestly it’s really good, and dives in Deaf culture and history and helps you learn to form sentences. A free website that’s good as a dictionary is called “asl dictionary” (I believe). ASL is such a beautiful language, and I adore learning it! Hope this helps, and praying for you on your journey 💗

Your school might have ASL as an option for an elective. My online school does, but yours might not. Especially if it's public. Otherwise, I don't know, sorry. I do think it's cool though and am thinking of switching from my French elective back to ASL, since I already do French on Duolingo.

I’m doing asl for my foreign language! I’m homeschooled so I have a curriculum, but for supplement I watch bill vicars on YouTube! He’s deaf so he communicates with a screen or by the signs he’s teaching you! I love it!

Sign School and The ASL App!

I don't know any apps but I used to take an ASL class at my old school and I moved so now I'm taking it at a college nearby to learn more so you could do that if you want!

I don't use any apps, but on YT I found Bill Vicar's ASL lessons very informative, and he's not boring in his teachings! Very humorous while still getting his teaching across :))

There’s this one app I know called Preply. This app isn’t specifically for ASL, but it does have ASL courses. It’s a language learning app so there are all sorts of languages, including braille and all types of sign language. Basically, you get a teacher (you can also select where you want your mentor to be from and what language(s) they should speak so you can communicate with them based on ur language). And they give u a lesson plan and you schedule classes with them every week so you can meet with them and learn ur language choice. All the meetings happen on the app, and there are also practice questions and stuff on the app asw! If you want the top rated teachers, it might be a bit pricier, but there are loads of teachers how offer good prices. The app is rlly easy to use and I rlly recommend it! I have learned both Spanish and ASL from the same app, and I’m fluent in both! It rlly helps, trust me. Anyways, gl with your ASL!!
