single or dual!!

OVERALL: It depends.

If there are a lot of characters (Like The Inheritance Games Spin Off Series) it's kinda nice to have multiple povs. A romance is really great for a dual POV and some plots really are better with one POV. I just lean more to the preference of single POV as a writer and reader. I think it isn't too difficult and sometimes the dual and multiple povs aren't written well if the author is writing from the opposite sex. And single POV is arguably better because you aren't watching someone, you are pretending that you yourself is the character and I believe that is an AMAZING part as a reader.

dual ESPECIALLY when it’s enemies to lovers(like enemies enemies) and you can see the yearning from both of them rather than one of them

It’s depends for me, I guess. With romance dual pov is good! But if it’s like, a really thick, heavy fantasy I don’t want to have to keep track of multiple povs. Especially because I usually end up liking one a lot more, so I don’t want to have to suffer through whole chapters of people I don’t love.

multiple gets very chaotic and slightly confusing
single can get boring faster
dual is the good in between (esp with romance 🤭)

it depends on the book, the characters, and the genre, (and how much i like the book)
