Daisy jones and the six got me into reading and its very character driven. It’s not fantasy but its about a band the characters aren’t super complex/morally grey but its a fun read and the format is unique. U rly need to read it hopefully you’ll like it <3
If you want a good botanical horror, the house of salt and sorrow series is really good. But the first book is like a ocean, mythology story rather then a botanical but the second book is.
