If you haven't read Once Upon a Broken Heart then I definitely recommend that one! It picks up shortly after Caraval and is somewhat connected but follows a different MC :)

Mistborn or one of Brandon Sanderson‘s standalones (Tress of the Emerald Sea, Yumi and the Nightmare Painter, …)

If you want solid and extensive worldbuilding, politic and slow burn there’s This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me, if you want character focused there’s Darkness Births the Stars, if you want politic, strong characters and enemies to lovers there’s The Scorched Throne duology, if you want something with more action there’s Kissed By The Gods, if you want ya Six of Crows.

The Wolf King by Lauren Palphreyman is really good! It’s super fast paced and is action packed :)
