I LOVE that series but I get if it scared you and stuff so I’d love for you to try again but it’s 100% your call ❤️

I absolutely LOVED the Naturals, but if it scared you I wouldn’t recommend continuing with the series. But, since it’s been a few years now, you could try rereading the first one and seeing if you like it better this time, and if you do, then you should continue the series!

The first one is probably the least creepy imo, so if the first one scared you, I’d say the series does get more and more intense as it goes on

I'd encourage trying to read it again since it's been a few years. I totally understand (and won't judge you) if it's not your cup of tea, though!

I didn’t enjoy the series either tbh, I’ve read all of them and imo they aren’t enjoyable if you don’t like the first

I liked the second book a lot I think it actually was my favorite buttt if you didn’t like the first one thennn idk if you’ll enjoy the second

Idk......I also tried the first one, but didn't like it because I thought it was too dark. And that's coming from a fan of MrBallen's Strange, Dark, and Mysterious podcast. If it scared you, I think you should just leave it alone and look for some "lighter" thriller reads if you want a mystery book, and then think about trying The Naturals again.

I think that the series was really good, but if you did not feel comfortable reading the first one then maybe dont. Keep in mind that you said you read the first one a while ago. Maybe you were not ready for that series then, but are now? I dont mean that in a rude way please dont take this in the wrong way.

I haven’t read the naturals yet but given my experience with caraval, I originally hated it, but recently reread it and LOVE IT.
