hii, mls, i hope you're all doing well !! <3
so i have some really important exams coming up in a month, and it's officially time for me to lock in bcs the syllabus is MASSIVE. but the problem is that i've been struggling to focus so much recently and it's making me feel like I'm not getting as much done as i'd like? so if you have any study methods, revision techniques, motivation that gets you through or just any tips in general that genuinely helped you, please lmk 😭 i'd really appreciate it sm 🫶

Brooo use the pomadora technique it is a life changer . Especially for memorising. It’s basically a technique you use for revision and memorising you study for 25 mins and rest for 5 mins or you study for 50 mins and rest for 10 mins. There is also the feynman technique where you study the lecture. Explain it loudly like ur talking to a child. Identify the gaps in ur explanation. The refine. This technique realllllly helps with biology, chemistry, english, hope thos helps babes 💖💖
what i’ve been doing, because i REALLY struggle with studying is looking up “toxic study motivations” on tiktok, and those make me lock tf in. and i also like to put on a show that i’ve already watched before so i’m not invested in it as background noise because i can’t sit in silence.
I really like using flashcards. The "making them" part may take a bit time in the beginning if you haven't used that method before. But the revising part is game changer!! You can literally do them whenever you have a couple of minutes free here and there. And that literally makes a huge difference!! I use anki and in my experience, that's the best app for this so far!And maybe to make the creating flashcards part easier, you can use Notebook LM (by Google) where you can upload all your learning material and it can create flashcards for you. from your sources!! Then you can either study them right there or you can type them in anki to use the spaced repetition system there. Notebook LM has also options like creating podcast, creating a multiple choice test, mind map, etc. And all this is actually free!! Worth checking out I would say.
Hope this helps! And inshallah you'll ace all those exams 🤍💪
